Energy efficiency
The Hotel Condesa has carried out an ambitious energy efficiency improvement project, financed by the European Union through Next Generation EU funds. The work has included replacing the old heat pumps with four new high-efficiency units, completely renovating the air conditioning and ventilation systems, and installing energy monitoring and management software. In addition, fan coils and air conditioners have been replaced in both rooms and common areas, and the entire hydraulic network has been renovated with state-of-the-art materials and insulation. In terms of lighting, LED equipment has been installed in all 466 rooms and common areas, optimising energy consumption and improving guest comfort.
Thanks to these improvements, the hotel has managed to reduce its non-renewable primary energy consumption by 44.89%, improving the building's energy rating and contributing significantly to environmental sustainability. This project meets the objectives set out in the call for proposals and reflects the Hotel Condesa's commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
